as "nice" as Scared is, Three Pistols wins for raw energy alone, and the entire 2nd verse.

I love them both...this is tough.
I'm gonna go for Scared because of the chills it can give you when it's played live...although I do love three pistols live (A bump on his head from a canoe paddle...probably)

This is very tough because both are such strong songs in their own way. All the others were easy for me to pick without hesitation but I just don't know for this one.
Used to be that Scared was just another Hip song for me...nothing special, until I heard it live for the first time in 96 in Saskatoon. At that moment when all of Sask Place was clapping and singing in unison the song instantly shot up to the top of my favorites list. It's been up and down for me in the years since, but still holds a very special spot.
But Three Pistols, I mean come on, that's classic Hip through and through. I've always loved this song and I don't think there's been a time when I was sick of hearing it.
I think I have to go with Three Pistols.
