So apparently the "alternative rock stationg" WBER ran out of Monroe Community College is the sponsor for the Rochester show. It says on their site that they plan on giving away tickets which is not really of concern as I have some anyways. My only question is...does anyone know if they are going to be tickets with a Meet & Greet package or a soundcheck pass or something. Also if anyone in the Rochester area can tell me...is there a time that they actually play good music on WBER? I've listened a few times on my way to and from work here in RACHACHA and the music they play blows like the infamous Shamu in the killer whale tank.



ps --- can't wait for the show...anyone else attending got ideas for a pregame?

they play songs you normally don't hear on commercial radio.

Must have been the time of day I was listening to it. I just moved to the area and on the way home from work or on my way to my grad classes i sometimes listen to it and they were playing some really bad new wave stuff. No instruments just a bunch of samples. One song had the theme to pacman playing in the background and every time they got to the chorus it made the noise like when you could eat the ghosts...that's why I said it sucked. Was also wondering who was going to be opening or if it's another "evening with" sorta thing.
