Taping policy for Jan.31st in Oshawa
#1

well i just got off the phone with the events manager at the general motors centre, and they told me that no video and audio equipment are allowed at the show tomorrow and that they have not been informed by the bands management or anyone that it is allowed.

just a heads up so no one gets their stuff taken away. i am gonna sneak in a good digital camera though so ill make a slideshow or something and also still attempt to record the show in audio.

i think they all have their heads up their asses! i emailed the box office 3 days ago to find out info about my ticket and they still have not gotten back to me.seems to me hipbasers know more when it comes to these things.my initial reaction to this posting was panic but i have no worries.i cannot believe for all these years ive been hiding my camera under my balls!

They say that at every venue... even on the day of the show. But it's never the reality once we get there.

And if the policy has changed, The Hip/MAv will let us know.

Chris is correct. Show up early in case there are issues, be polite and patient, and you'll be good.

Most of them don't know.

In Lethbridge they tried to take away my minidisk recorder, and only the boss guy at the gate was aware of the taping policy. Just be assertive, and tell whoever tells you otherwise speak with the management. This should get you in no problem.
