Ok people, here's my problem. I manage a retail store and dislike traditional christmas music as much as I dislike country.
I know from listening to the radio over the years certain bands have redone these songs or made their own Christmas songs and they sound great.
What I'm looking for is either a site that streams rock themed Christmas music or a list of songs and bands of the ones they've done.
The only two that come to mind right know are
AC/DC - Mistress for Christmas
TTH - On the Verge (White Christmas)
I know there's something by the Beatles or Paul Mcartney just can't remember it,

Cummings and Bachman have done "Takin' Care of Christmas" - they play it on Q107 every year. Also, Springsteen has a version of Santa Calus is Coming to town.

If your familiar with Bobnoxious, local heavy metal band from London, they have an entire christmas album, "Ho Ho Ho".
They have a float at the Santa Claus parade every year and they rock out their tunes, they're awesome.
One of my fav's a play on Faliz Navidas (sp?)...to be "The Police Nabbed My Dad"
FM96 plays that stuff a lot, but I'm not sure where you can download it.

Bruce has versions of "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" as well as "Merry Christmas, Baby".
Barenaked Ladies have entire holiday album.
Lennon has his "Happy Christmas (War is Over)". McCartney contributed with, "So This is Christmas" (at least I think that's the title) and something along the lines of "Wonderful Christmas Time".
If you look up any of the "Very Special Christmas" albums, you'll find (more or less) contemporary artists performing classic Christmas songs. :thumb:

The Paul McCartney songs is "simply having a wonderful christmas time". It might have a shorter title, i'm not sure.
Another xmas classic is the Royal Guardsman's "snoopy & the red baron". I just put together a christmas album of my own, and it includes some of the before mentioned, BTO, Lennon, McCartney...also John Mellencamp's "i saw momma kissing santa clause", Bryan Adams' "run rudolph run", etc.

that's the one I heard the other day and was thinking of!
I know Bowser and Blue have a few christmas tunes but their a little inapropriate for store play!!
