To put that into perspective, the most powerful production-car audio I know of is the $230,000+ 2003 Aston Martin Vanquish's 1,200-watt system. Irving carries $80,000 worth of audio alone, in a vehicle that is worth, admittedly, slightly less than the Maybach.

everyone has a passion. Look at us, eat/sleep/breath the hip.. his isn't all that different. Of course ours won't actually turn your brain to tofu and it is slightly less costly, not too mention slight more intelligent.. hmm.. guess his IS all that different! but its his passion. so whatever.. as long as no one is getting hurt..

now, those kids you see driving around town with their $3 honda civics or their $40,000 honda civics (thank you daddy) with their eight thousand dollar stereos! damn, they get under my skin. Especially when I pull up to a red light and my daughters are with me and these pricks haven't a shed of intelligence or decency to turn down their mindless swearing crap so that the young ears around them listening don't lean every swear word known to man all in one stop at a fricken red light! THESE guys are a cause of road rage if you ask me!

I never thought of them as a cause for road rage but i agree that they blast their stereos too loud to get noticed in their little ricers and fart pipe. Most of the time the music is so loud all you hear is bass and you cant make out the lyrics. I hoping someday for a bylaw that prevents noise-pollution such as that, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Those things are WAY too loud.

Although, the harley riders' argument is that they have to be loud so cars will hear them, since they don't always see them. I don't know, I think it is just an excuse to be ignorant with the noise. cratch:

There are bylaws in place for noise polution. My ex's friend drives a 4 banger mustang and has the thing tuned to the nuts. Unfortunately she is completely tone deaf and things her fart pipe sounds great! anyway, she got stopped by the police one day and was ordered to take a noise test and FAILED! so she had to take the car off the road. Funny thing is her car annoying as it was, was NOT near as loud as a Harley! Interesting. I guess noise laws are only for people who can't afford to fix their exhaust system and for people with fart pipes! Harleys are exluded.. nice.. God forbid your poor!


As for Harley drivers claiming they just want to be seen by drivers! I don't see any bicycle riders touring around town screaming loud enough to deafen a person so they get noticed, yet they are more likely to get hit! :?
