Can anyone recommend a good gift for my soon-to-be 50-year-old parents for Christmas?

I want to send them out to a concert or show or something because during the summer they are at the cottage every weekend but in the winter they are bored out of their skulls and don't get out much. I've been looking at upcoming concerts & comedians but the pickings are slim. At this point I'm leaning towards tickets to George Carlin + a one-night hotel stay in TO in March.

Has anyone out there seen Carlin live?... I'm sure they'd love Carlin, but just wondering if can anyone recommend someone else (or someone better) that I could look into?

Depending on their tastes, Blue Man Group in Toronto is an excellent show.

I've seen him live 3 times and was highly entertained every time. However, he has become even dirtier than he ever used to be. He swears alot more and is alot more cynical and angry in his performance. If your parents are a fan of his older stuff, i.e. jokes about his dog, a place for your stuff etc. they might not like his newer material, but he is still very funny and entertaining.

I like Carlin too, but I could never listen the the "rape can be funny" bit with my mom and dad around. And, you may not want to hear a George Carlin bit retold to you by mom or dad. Might be creepy, but hey, maybe you're cool with that sort of thing.
