I know that this has been brought up before and i did search for it and i came up with more names
where is Grooveless is he really in Iraq he hasn't been here since 2005
same with lord brazle always liked his take on things and then Jen ( highwaygirl) , and dyersby
they were around alot know not so much or not at all

Brazle's absence is the most notable; I remember when he first joined the 'base, he posted a bunch of comments, found hostility, and edited every single post to read *cough*; the guy logged a ton of posts in the short time he was here, and caused a ton of shit along the way. I think when he called some Hipbase member's Nazis and fascists for emailing a Toronto DJ, his departure was almost inevitable...
I've been here a long time, visit the 'base at least twice daily, post minimally, and have never met a Hipbaser, but still associate personality with everyone who posts on the 'base in a religious manner... it is strange to see some leave in such an abrupt manner.

Grooveless and dyersbay are both still around... just not these parts.
On another torrent site I "bump" into Grooveless from time to time.
Dyersbay is alive and well, she's just not into The Hip any more. At all. In any way.

It happened so long ago I'm a little hazy on the actual details, and as usual, am too lazy to drudge up the old thread. But if I'm not mistaken there was some sort of confidentiality that this "mystery girl" asked for and then he posted the entirety of their conversation which pissed off a bunch of people here, men and women alike...and then after that I'm guessing he felt a little embarassed and has remained conspicuously absent ever since. There was probably a little bit more to it, but I can't recall all of the deets.
