I checked the set lists for Hip shows and found a show I saw in Seattle was missing. They played at the grunge pit called The Off Ramp. There must of been a couple of hundred people. Does anyone remeber this show, or was it all just a bitchen dream?

I wasn't there, but yes, they did play a show in Seattle in '91. I can't believe I actually remember this, but The New Music did an interview with them while they were there (circa '91), and I've also seen footage of Johnny and Gord S. doing an interview at a Seattle radio station.

That was on the Egos and Icons (the first and still the best). If I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a comment in that clip about the guys from Pearl Jam wanting to get on the guest list?

Since PJ is my favourite band I remember this clearly from the Egos and Icons show. Johnny and Gord S. were getting interview and the DJ said something about Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard formerly of Mother Love Bone now in Pearl Jam would be attending the show. Johnny and/or Gord S. gave an "oh cool" kind of answer like they weren't really sure who that was but felt like the should have known who it was. If I remember the date it was the spring of 1991 so it was a few months before Ten came out. I've wondered sometimes what these two bands would have thought of eachother not just because they are my two favourite bands but they both have similar views as far as politics goes it seems and they do a lot of charity work.

Thanks for the great information. I would love to track down a set list or recording of that show. I remember a blistering version of "Fight". The boys splatered the room with mississippi mud that night.

I remember that clip. It wasn't from a MM "Egos and Icons" though. It was an hour long CBC special on The Hip called "Full Fledged Vanity". It came out a few months after Fully Completely was released. I still have a really crappy recording of it lying around somewhere on VHS........I fully remember the Pearl Jam and Bridget Fonda comment.
