Sorry....I did the search and got way to many hits to check them all.........

I am going to the Commodore to see the band and I am wondering if I can take my camera and take some pics?

I know it is not usually the policy, but I have been to other shows where they do let you take pics and The Hip seem to have alot of fan stuff on the web...so what is the skinny?

The word from the band is that digital point and shoot are OK, just nothing professional, or professional looking.

Thanks Trevor....gonna try. I have a panasonic fz20, so technically it is a point and shoot, but has 320mm worth of zoom zoom. Makes it a bit bulky tho' so maybe they won't like it.

Will let you guys know how I get on.

Good luck with the camera situation; your FZ20 does look like it has a massive lens!
I usually bring my Canon SD700 without anyone hassling me, but then mine's much smaller than yours.

Ok, so I changed my mind at the last minute because I didn't want to lug my camera around all night. Looks like camera's are not a problem tho. They didn't search people or stop anyone from snapping that I saw.
