Hopefully this won't get flamed by the search police...
but for the past even numbered years (2004, 2002 and 2000) the Hip have performed on NYE
Living in Hamilton, it was quite easy to make the last 2 NYE shows
Has there been any word on this matter, regarding the ringing in of 2007?
I know the Hip won't be at Copps this year because Blue Rodeo is instead

It definitely won't be happening in Hamilton since Blue Rodeo are playing there already... doubt it will happen anywhere else too. I think it would have already been announced by now, considering they've announced dates for 2007.

Big source of debate here in K-Town. Word is work has been delayed because of the election. One mayoral candidate wants to scrap it, while another wants to move it to the Memorial Centre site. Rob Baker can't be too happy about this.
