Help a sister out
#1

Got this from a website visitor, but I'm computer special-needs. Anybody know how to do this right?

"I saved the file in the notes file of my ipod but then when i go to access it on my ipod it just says 'RAR!'.

Could you please let me know the procedure for saving to the ipod. I thought i was doing it right, but obviously not!!"

I've never added lyric sheets to my iPod before, although I know there was a thread about it not that long ago here at the hipbase.

.rar is like .zip, just a different program to compress.....I think you need to decompress the .rar file before adding it to your iPod.

If you can't open it, I'll compress it into a .zip file and try to post a link via yousendit.

Edit: On second thought, here's the yousendit link to the files, but in a .zip compressed file.

See if you can open the zip file. I don't know what the next step is in adding the lyric .txt files to the iPod, but I'm sure somebody here does :thumb:

Hey thanks so much everyone for all your help. I was the one who emailed Stephen for the download instructions. I did end up just unzipping the Zip file you converted (THANKS SRB!!!) and now I have them all on my ipod. After extracting the files, I just saved them to the notes section on my ipod and there they are!! So I was kinda on the right track!!

Thanks again everyone
