1. You must be a registered user of www.thehip.com and logged in
2. If the top right corner of the site says "Welcome + your user name" then you are logged in
3. Tomorrow (Tuesday September 26th) there will be an obvious banner on the home page, which you will click on. This will take you to the ticket page.
4. at the appropriate time : 10:00:01 of each show's time zone, a link with a password will show up on the ticket page.
5. Click on the link to go to the direct ticket master page.
6. I suggest having your credit card number ready to copy and paste into the Ticket MAster form, or, to create an account ahead of time
7. The ticket sale will be fast and furious, don't be late or you could be SOL

If you are registered, then you're fine. There is a copy of it in Your Preferences, on the site.

I can't control the web, unfortunately, and some ISp's are tougher than others on what gets through, and there is the fire walls, junk mail and spam filters etc.

A couple of questions:

Do we click on the "The Tragically Hip Tour and Ticket Info" banner? Or is it going to be a different one? Will the banner be up before 10:00? Or will it not appear until the presale starts?

Thanks
Nick

Quick question.

At 10am tomorrow, I will be at work. My home e-mail is registered at thehip.com. Will I be able to purchase these tickets without access to my home e-mail?

You need the email address and user password to log in.
Something will be up before 10:am on the home page.
There will be multiple ways to get there, so any way you go you should be able to find it.

If you can get to the show, your email and password will give you a chance at "First in Line" tickets.

Mav, what do you know about mutiple browsers open to each specific show and purchasing tickets that way? Can it be done or do I need to do one show after the other in one browser?

Good question. As that part all takes place on Ticket Master's site, I honestly, I have no idea. Doesn't sound dumb, it really depends upon how smart TM is I guess and what effort they put in.

I wouldn't try that.... I tried that with U2 last year and it gave me the boot.

Ok, I did an experiment with Ticketmaster. I tried searching for tickets to 2 different Elton John shows (Toronto and Hamilton - and *NO*, I did not actually buy them!). If you try to search at the same time (ie. enter the word gives you), it screws up and keeps telling you to reenter the word even if you typed it correctly. Then after a few tries, both windows come up with the exact same seats to one of the shows (not both).

If you wait until the first search is done (ie. it gives you seats), then you can search for the next show no prob. Don't know if it will let you pay for both at the same time.

Hope this helps.
