I'm solely in the Cry camp at the moment.

However, in the spirit of kindness and Friday, I will hope that 1) All of our neighbors up north enjoy a fall tour and 2) the boys will announce US dates to follow.

They do seem to be doing things ass backwards this time around -- they usually hit the U.S. first, and then do the trek across Canada...

Regardless, I'll be doing it back asswards with them.

I hope so too
Going to school @ western makes trips to the JLC very easy
I sat 5th row @ the last show there (it was also my brother's 21st birthday...very good night)

Hoping to hit London, Hamilton + Toronto this tour

BRoach... I had no idea you were such a Blue Rodeo fan... but perhaps that's what the BR in your name stand for... as Blue Rodeo are playing Hamilton on NYE.

Haha, thanks for a great post that made me laugh. But this is definetly exciting news. I hate to speculate, but I hope they go back to a format similar to 1999... double shows in big cities like Vancouver, Toronto...*coughHalifax, and whatnot. And here's to more crazy, unpredictable setlists! Cheers!

It just makes sense - to hit Canada first then the US - the album is not hitting the States until 2007.

I'm guessing they'll be playing the Saddledome again here in Cowtown. I missed the last 'Dome concert in '04 because I was hurtin' for cash at the time and I had already seen them twice that year down in the States. I certainly won't be missing this one though. This is exciting news!
