Finally! I received an eBulletin about this earlier today... but about 8 seconds later my nose was itchy and I forgot about it.

Is it really retirement when no one wants you?

Hmmm, might be something to ask Junior Seau.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of this. I mean, now we have to listen to him as an Analyst on TSN.

I'm sure there's a joke in there about being the world's second analyst/therapist, but I'm not going there.

Cheers,

Pat

I grew up in Toronto. Despise the Leafs. Really, really, really disliked Tie Domi for a long time. Found him to be a classless goon, especially when I moved to Ottawa. So I guess he did his job well. He certainly wasn't an also ran. I hope he enjoys retirement.

Its about time. I've couldn't stand Domi since I first saw him play and that was way back with the Peterborough Petes.

love him or hate him...one of the best fighters of all time. I know guys who fought him and they hated doing it...you couldn't hurt him and he threw bombs. How could you beat that? Not many did

Those not in the area probably didn't get to see them but the Ray/Domi fights were classic. I wasn't much of a Domi fan but he lasted quite a few years in a waterd down leauge. Have to give him props for that.

I thought the same thing. He'll fit right into TSN alongside the brilliant Pierre Mcquire (sp?).

So TSN will feature and endless regurgitation of wordy sports clichés, like this:
tie domi Wrote:“I am excited and nervous in my new role and I promise to bring the same passion and dedication to the broadcast arena that I delivered on the ice night in and night out."

OK.

tie domi Wrote:"I might need a six-second delay when I start. I’m not a guy who vanillas many things.”

Vanillas? Tie, what you might need is a translator....

well he can't do any worse as a broadcaster than Nick Kypreos on Sports Net, he's terrible.

Nick Kypreos is a human wasteland. It's painful to listen to him talk about hockey.
