Just turned on CBC. Reports so far are 4 people killed and 16 injured, but they're still gathering all the details. CNN is all over the story as well. This is pretty scary.

What a great world we live in. Such great and decent people who do things such as shoot random students and commit suicide right after.

I wonder if its another one of these knobs that acted like a freak, dressed like a freak, hung out with freaks and then shot everybody because they treated him like a freak. Killing innocent people and then shooting yourself is such a ballsy thing to do. Theres a special place reserved for you along with all the other terrorists. Enjoy your daily lava enimas followed by a 400 day Nickelback concert.

I just heard this from someone at work, don't know if it's true or not but they said that one of the subjects was "neutralized" by the SWAT team

what the f*ck makes people do these things like this....I've been pretty pissed off before, but nothing would EVER make me want to go shooting up innocent people

Wow, CNN sure got bored of this story quickly. They were all over it for about 10 minutes, but they've since moved on to more important news regarding Republicans and Democrats squabbling with each other in congress.

What a sad and horrible day for Montreal. I hope those poor folks in the hospital pull through ok.

Everyone defended Montreal when I had my beef.

Now this happens.

I know this is an isolated incident, but

Wake up Canada, Montreal is out of control.

I'm no conservative, but you can't be this liberal.

Tougher gun laws need to be the reality.

You're going to have to pardon the rest of us if we fail to be sympathetic during this, your ongoing hour of need. Some of us might even suggest that you take your fucking thumb out of your mouth.

I'm sorry to be the one to point this out, but this isn't actually about you. It's not really about the traumatic loss of your CD collection and your precious car, which were both insured.

It's about a girl that got killed and nineteen other kids who got wounded.

I know your CD collection was awfully important, in the grand scheme of things, but try to keep your perspective.

Grow up man. Way to be an insensitive prick. This has nothing to do with Montreal. It has to do with innocent people. This could have happened in Winnipeg, Victoria, Edmonton, and yes, even Buffalo...just feel bad for them and their families, and hope for the best in the future.
Yes, believe it or not, not everything is about you!

You are a moron.

Buffalo's homicide rate this year is on target for 29 murders per 100,000 people.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.wsws.org/articles/2006/aug2006/buff-a10.shtml">http://www.wsws.org/articles/2006/aug20 ... -a10.shtml</a><!-- m -->

Montreal's homicide rate in 2005 was 1.3 murders per 100,000 people.

That means you are TWENTY-TWO TIMES MORE LIKELY to be murdered in Buffalo than you are in Montreal.

How about you clean up your own backyard before you whine about the shit in your neighbour's yard, assclown.

When did the actions of one psycho come to represent an entire population of 3.5 million people?

Seriously dude. Get the hell over your car / cd's. How can you make some kind of insinuation that the two are related? You are the reason that everyone hates us down here in the US.
