Has anyone thought about a gathering spot in or outside Skydome for us Hipbase members? Everyone could meet at a gate # or something. If not, it's just a thought.

I guess it depends on who everyone wants to see and when they are arriving...
Personally I am going to go down at 5:00ish (unless Avril is actually coming on early - I would be interested in seeing her for some reason) and go with the flow, but I am all ears for meeting up somewhere.
My first suggestion would be somewhere on Front Street. I imagine that the Loose Moose, Shoeless Joes, etc. will be pretty busy.
Thoughts?

For us that don't live anywhere near TO, are they playing this live on CBC perhaps?

Don't think so...
Even IN Toronto, there's nothing in the weekly TV listings to suggest any local networks, let alone the CBC will be providing live coverage...Much and MuchMoreMusic both have full schedule loads for Saturday (the former with all their MMVA preview stuff)...
Too bad too, 'cause I'll be in Ottawa this weekend... :x

Hey all
I`m not from the city but i know of a place we gathered that was i believe right beside union station on the dome side and i think it was kelseys. the hip were playin the ACC and it wasn`t actually too busy at the time we were there before the show.....mind you we had a bit of time to kill..(hic)...i don`t think its that far and handy for anyone comin on the train...let me know what ya think! there must be someone familiar of the city and must know of a nice spot away from the crowd within walking distance....lookin forward to it.....cheers..............Tiny :thumb:
