Any Jewel fans out there?? I am listening to her new cd right now, wow!! What a change from the typical Jewel. She changed her image and sound so much!! The Cd is pretty cool. I am glad I gave it a chance :thumb:

I'm not all too familiar with her work.. I only really know the songs that have been released in Holland (Standing Still, Foolish Games, You were meant for me, Break Me). I like those.

I didnt know she had a new album out, Kazaa here I come :wink:

Kim, it is a big change from the typical hits that you heard. These songs are way more upbeat, almost like dance music. There are probably 2 songs that I don't like on the new cd but for the most part, it is very cool. Not to mention, it is cool to play in our store, because it is so upbeat :thumb:

i ll pass on her new cd . jumping on a band wagon that is on a downswing. She shouldn't try and be christina , brittney or pink
be jewel. I watched her at woodstock and at the end she played new material the rocked but i haven't heard the song s anywhere , just have to get out my woodstock videos and listen again.

Its taking me some time to get used to her new style. I like " leave the lights on", "becoming" and " intuition" but the other two songs I downloaded ("yes u can" and "to find you") didn't really do it for me.

Should I download the rest?

Kim, I do like the whole cd except for 2 or 3 songs, but in all honesty, the more I listen to it, the more it starts to sound the same. So, I guess I would stick with what you have now and see if those songs start to run together before downloading more. I do have to say, that the 3 you have are probably the best picks though :wink:

Oh yeah, the 2 other ones you downloaded are the ones I don't care for either, along with a song called "America"...that one is plain annoying. So, I guess it is these 3 that I don't like, but the rest is cool, but as I said earlier..they kind of blend together. :wink:
