Rob sings lead on 2 tracks - Bulletproof White Limo and Sweet'n'Low - but Craig Northey (former lead singer for the Odds) sings lead on all the other songs.

i know this question doesnt have anything to do with the strippers; but does Rob Baker sing on Small Town Bringdown? i was watching the video last night and it showes him singing backup; but it could just be lip-synching. I know he doesnt sing on too many hip songs...

He mentioned in an interview that he sang on the first Hip CD but that he was buried way down in the track. So, he might actually be singing in Smalltown Bringdown and not just lip-synching in the video.
I think, in the same interview, he said something about BWL being the first time anyone heard his singing voice on the radio.

Oh yeah, he sings backing in that cut, sorry.
I was thinking purely lead.

Really?
How did I miss that?
I guess I just thought it wasn't Rob because his singing on that isn't low at all...
and I guess it sounds a bit like Craig...
Anyways, I guess I stand corrected.
Maybe I should be listening to that CD a bit more then...

I thought he sang lead for Give Up and Go Away, also I noticed that in Hometown Bringdown, during the song he was basically singing along to himself, but near the end during the "In the borders of your hometown, the borders of your hometown, your hometown, your home town......" he's clearly sharing the mike with Gord S.

Reasons to believe that Rob is singing lead in Bulletproof White Limo:
1. The video (concert footage) clearly shows Rob singing lead.
2. In an interview, Rob says that BWL is the first time anyone will hear his singing voice on the radio and the first time he's sung lead.
Reasons to believe Rob sang back up on Hometown Bringdown:
1. The video (concert footage) clearly shows Robe singing back up.
2. In an interview, Rob says that he sang back up on the first Hip EP but his voice was buried down in the track.
So. Yeah. It's Rob singing.

He's got a nice voice, it's interesting, but seems 'older' than he is.
