Well Torontonians, anyone miss their bus this morning?

As my pic shows, I'm a transit buff. I'm remaining completely neutral on the whole issue (it's the compromise seeing the need for more security, and shaking my head at illegal strike actions).

Also, I'm rocking the suburbs this summer, up in the 905. If this had happend last year, while working at both Yorkdale and at Yonge and Welsley, it could have been a very interesting day.

My office is at Dixon and Martingrove.

We hired a summer student intern.

He lives at Lakeshore and Royal York.

I'm still shaking my head... he called the office at 7am and left a message saying that he was "gonna huff it to work", and might be late.

I live about 5 minutes from him and have driven him home on multiple occasions... why woudn't he just call me? Or just stay home?

Well, I walked to work, too.

I got out of bed and walked down the hall to the office.

I rode my bike, like I do everyday. I am at king and Bay and live in Leaside, it a 7.5 km ride to work.

It was pretty harry going down young street, it was a parking lot so I was weaving in and out of traffic.

Nowadays I'm a consultant, which means sometimes the trip to work involves a four am drive to the airport ... but I spend most of my time working from home, so I ain't complaining.

The biggest advantage is I get to pick the music in the office, and turn it up loud.
