Has anyone ever seen these guys live? A show is coming up at a venue I love in Portland & tickets went on sale yesterday...
I'm a huge fan of their old stuff...but somehow can't imagine seeing them live...maybe it's the whole not being able to sing along thing.

I would definetely go. I had tickets to go see them in Vancouver a couple of years ago but my car got stolen. I have seen a couple of songs played live on Craig Kilborn and somewhere else and it came across surprisingly well. This is a band that would be enhanced by a 2 paper lefty IMO.

all i can say is wow. the show tonight blew my mind.
maybe it was bc i had no idea what to expect so it was all the more amazing...but i strongly urge anyone who is a fan of this band ---- if you ever get the chance, they are completely worth it. word of advice though, if you can - do general admis. as opposed to specific seating ---- the further away you are - the better. you can't appreciate the lights and or background if you're too close.
