Kinda short notice but any coldplay fans should check out <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thebearrocks.com">www.thebearrocks.com</a><!-- w --> tonight at 9:30 mtn time. They're broadcasting live from the shaw center in edmonton tonight. The music just finished at 9:00. Great stuff so far.

No problem. It's a little bit of a preview for me since I'll see them tomorrow night here in Calgary. Didn't think I was going to go but last week I checked ticketmaster and found that they had just released some seats beside the stage. Ended up getting front row beside the stage. :thumb:
Can't wait to see them as well as the Music.

Well, I'm sold. Before the show last night I wasn't completely sure about Coldplay. I thought they were good enough musicians and all that but I wasn't buying all the hype that they were getting. I didn't rush out and get tickets to the show when it was announced in fact it wasn't until I found out that The Music were opening that I was even that interested in going.
Anyway a couple weeks ago I finally bought the new Coldplay disc. I gave that a few listens and was impressed. I've also been lietening to the Music's cd quite a bit lately. Last week while talking to a friend about the music I decided to check out ticketmaster.ca and discovered that they had just released some tickets beside the stage. I didn't hesitate to pick them up and we ended up with front row tickets to the show. Turns out that they were great seats.
The Music blew me away. Amazing show for a 4 guys all 20 years old or younger. I looked around the crowd while they were playing and there were quite a few jaws on the floor. If you have a chance to check them out, do yourself a favor and go see.
Coldplay was able to follow them up with a great show of their own. I'm sold. Intense show.
For me the Music stole the show though. They just put out a wall of sound that sounds so cool. The lead singer can cut up a rug like no other too.
Very cool night last night. :thumb:
Now I have to make it through the work day, babysit my twin niece and nefew this evening and then somehow manage to find the energy to take in the IMAX screening of the Led Zeppelin dvd tonight at midnight.
