So I picked up this album today on a whim during my lunch break, because I figured anything by Tom Wilson is sure to be a quality piece of work...and I was right! This is an absolute jewel of an album by one of Canada's most talented and underrated songwriters. The disc was recorded in Nashville, and that folky/bluesy/country vibe is all over the record. It also features an impressive array of guest musicians including Garry Tallent of the E Street Band, Rosanne Cash, and Colin Linden (who also produced the album).

If anybody here is a fan of either Junkhouse, Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, or Tom's last solo outing "Planet Love", I highly recommend checking this album out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

we've been playing the single at work quite a bit, and i really "dig it" (to quote a tom tune from his last cd)...i've always loved his stuff, and saw junkhouse a few times in vancouver..they put on a great show
