not that it matters much, because prairie wind was, in my opinion, the best record to be released last year...but i'm really hoping he takes the grammy on wednesday night for best album :thumb:

he's also nominated for best vocal performance for the painter...i hope the grammy's show some love for the canadian legend...

i'm new to posting on the forum here, so are there many neil fans out there?

i'm hoping that he makes an appearance at this year's junos in halifax too. he made insinuations last year that he'd play this year's junos awards because he wasn't able to make it last year due to his recovery from surgery...hope that he makes it...

i'll do a search for some posts about him, and check out your posts.

as far as i know he is not performing tonight, but he kind of alluded to the possibilty of performing at this year's junos (which are in halifax!) after not being able to perform last year...so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

here's an article about neil's thoughts on the nominations and the ceremony. it's a good read, because he doesn't usually go for the whole awards show thing...
