I have been there a couple of times.

Both times, I stayed in a resort around the bay near a town called Bucerias. I didn't see too much of the city though. The airport is really small haha.

Go on a booze cruise haha. They are pretty sweet.

We should have a separate forum on this site for travel tips, reviews, suggestions etc....I know there are many of them throughout the internet already out there, www.debbiescaribbeanresortreviews.com being my favourite, but we all know each other around here on a somewhat familiar internet level...why not do it? Have fun in Mexico...I'm jealous.

I have been there a few times. The fam has time share there.

In terms of partying there is lots of it in town. Senor Frogs, Carlos O'Brians and a whole bunch more. Drinks are super cheap of course and its fun just to bar hop along the main drag on the water front.

Booze cruises are fun and there is a tour available of where Predator was filmed. Its a pretty cool place deep within the mountains. Watch the movie before you go there. They have oneof the choppers used in the film on display (very rough looking at this point).

Hey there Dark Canuck...glad to hear a fellow Saskatchewanian is getting away to find a little sun. Unfortunately I won't be going south this year, but I was there a couple of years back...

Are you staying in the Hotel Zone (north) or the Old Town (south)? The Old Town gives you a little more of the authentic Mexican feel...and you're only a 10 minute walk to the main strip...lots of beach and beach front bars to choose from too...if you're under 30 I'm thinking you'll be at Carlos O'brians, Senor Frogs, the Zoo (hopefully Gladys is still there - the best shooter girl in PV!)...

If you want a good meal in a very cool atmosphere, go to Andales in the Old Town (breakfast, lunch or supper)...

We didn't do a lot of adventurous stuff, but we did do the treetop "canopy" tour...where you swing from tree to tree...it's close to an hour drive out of town, but I think they were doing some road improvements, so it might be a quicker trip now...

Now I'm getting jealous of you! Have a good time!!!
