I actually have an original copy of this on VHS from when they sold it door-to-door as a fundraiser. The best part of the video is cut off from here - when the song's done, they replay the entire thing with the flames horrific attempts at actually playing their insturments. I have some free time over the next few days, I'll see if I can get the entire tape on here for you guys.

Didn't Dougie Gilmour play for the Flames in 87? I didn't see him in there. Either I am wrong with my dates or he realised how cheesy it was and refused to do it............

Gilmour didn't join the Flames until the following season (88-89). That said, anyone who recalls his venture into the wonderful world of bovine leggings will tell you Dougie's "cheese-meter" wasn't always fully operational... :lol:

My cheeks are still flushed with embarrassment for those poor saps.
That video reminds me of the Chicago Bears' Super Bowl Shuffle video from..was it 1985? I remember how everybody was caught up in the novelty of athletes doing a song and dance number, but I don't think anybody realized how awful it was. That mid-to-late 80's video technology seemed "cool" then, but looks sooooo ridiculous now. And what's more, I think both Jim McMahon AND Walter Payton were "too big" to actually travel to the set for the video shoot, so their images were superimposed so they "appeared" (to glaucoma patients, at least) to be onstage with the rest of those rhythemless clods....
