...Was simply an incredible night for rock and roll...Doesn't seem as if it was that long ago, but really, when Das Hips brought "An Evening With.." to the ACC that night, I'm not sure we all knew what we were in for, but 30 songs later, including a stirring rendition of Courage followed by a deafening roar of applause which is still palpable when listening to the boot today, all the "music lovers" left happy, happy people...
Here's hoping they do something like that again, as I'm sure there are many 'basers who had the pleasure of being in the audience for that special night...

That was indeed a great night. T'was my 16th birthday, and I have never had a better celebration since. What a night! The limo we took to the show would never be the same again... hahaha!
I think I got that boot from Rory and I listen to it often. Flamenco with Kate Fenner is expecially great!

I remember taking a girl to this show, and it was good by concert date standards. She enjoyed the music, liked the band, and was a fan of the rock and roll experience. That said, I was so mesmorized by hearing Long Time Running, I ruined the perfect opportunity to make a move, but I digress. The show was magic regardless.
At school, December 2000 was hell; I was Student Council President and it was my OAC year. Outside of it, the three shows I saw this month made everything better.

On this night ONE year ago, The Hip brought their IBE tour to Saint John, NB. I had second row seats and backstage passes. It was the single best night of my life.
