The Hip's largest crowd
#1

Wasn't the crowd at Woodstock '99 larger than the one at the Forks? Just wondering what really was the largest crowd the boys have played before. That Pink Pop deal had a bunch of folks too IIRC.

Woodstock '99 was 200000+... War Child in Winnipeg was 80000, and this past Moncton show in September was 85000. A few numbers for you...

Thanks boys. I have reason to doubt the FAQ because of its age and some of its factual errors. I know the attendance at Woodstock '99 was 200,000, I just wonder how many were pointed towards the main stage at 11am on Saturday morning.

I love that Pink Pop bootleg, it's the first time I remember hearing Gord's women of the Reich rants about Ava Braun and Leni Reifenstahl.

I remember reading somewhere that the were approximately 50,000 in 'actual' attendance at their Woodstock '99 gig. It's not 100% though.
