I would of started another 360 thread anyway at some point. Might as well do it again... :lol:

Anyway, its looking like NHL2K6, Madden NFL 06 for sure and undecided on a third, I was leaning towards CoD2, but I think its a potential quick beat so I dont know if I want to drop 70+ dollars on something I can beat in 2 days, same goes for Kameo, both awesome games and look amazing, but worth paying that much for...its up to the individual I guess. I might get Kameo for my wife to play she seems to like it alot. But I'll rent more than I buy for the first while after launch, hopefully BB will have games to rent from day 1 on....how bout you?

how hard do you guys think it's gonna be tyo get a "premium" console(the one with the HD etc)

the EB near me wont take anymore preorders, and unless i ditch classes to go to walmart when it opens, i dont think i'll be able to buy one on the day of release....thoughts???

Seriously though, you will have to be at the walmart at maybe 4-5am and camp your ass out to have a chance for one. Each walmart is most likely getting no more then 50-70 units. The next shipment might not come till after January , which sucks ass for all retailers + customers.

We (EB) cant take more preorders because most of the preorders we have ARE NOT getting the system till next year. We are already sold out of most of the game titles as well.

But, theres always ebay!

I just got my games and controllers yesterday, sucks I cant play them yet but....

ONLY 4 MORE DAYS!!!

And farmerdan, if you dont camp out you're pretty much screwed unitl probably spring. M$ is coming up real short. Who knows you may get lucky if you camp out. Id forget about eBay unless you have deep pockets, I remember when the ps2 first came out that winter they were going for over $1000, I wouldnt be surprised to see the 360's go for more than that on eBay.

ok, so i went to the walmart in Barrie today, and the woman working there(who didnt really seem to know what is going on) told me that they were gonna give out numbers to do some sort of random draw that morning??? and that they were only selling the "$499.99 ones"

who knows i might get lucky

EDIT: also went to the EB in Barrie and they said they were taking preorders for january.....oh well at least there's a backup plan!

I hope you do get lucky, and I hope you get an xbox too.. :wink:

January isn't too bad, it will give you more time to save money, this whole thing the prem. system and 3 games and an extra controller has cost me $900 bucks! But thats misleading because I didnt pay anything for the system, I used the money from my ebay transactions to pay for it. Its a good investment from my standpoint, besides playing the best video games its a cd/dvd player, it can stream audio from an iPod, and a bunch of other stuff that you can integrate with windows xp media edition and digital cameras..etc..

Opiated makes the joke about wanting to have no life, I laughed of course, not sure how serious he is, but Ive been gaming since I was born practically, Ive never not had a video game system in my house since I was a kid. I owned Atari 2600, Nintendo, SuperNintendo, Sega Genesis, TurboGrafix16, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, xbox and now xbox360. I'd hate to know how much Ive spent on all that over the years, probably enough to buy a porsche :lol:
