Great player, but I never liked him. Thats all I got to say.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

Weird how he would come back for just five games, maybe he just wanted to give Wayne a try.

Great player, one of the biggest jerks among public figures I've met. A real ego, refusal to sing autographs seemed really odd.

Whined about not getting picked for Team Canada and so jumped ship to team USA where he could be a big fish in a small pond. I Always resented him for that. Petty? Sure.

Oh, and he'll be forever tainted by the fact that his foot was in the crease for his Stanley Cup win in Dallas.

The Golden Brett was an incredible goal scorer and he was so dangerous when he would set up in the slot. However, as everyone has said, he's a whiner and I didn't like him. Jeremy Roenick reminds me of Hull a little bit...

I pretty much agree with everybody here. Great player, but I always hated him. I'll never forget that stunned look on his face when Marty Gelinas scored in OT of game 6 last year. It was one of those "I can't believe that just happened" kind of looks. Absolutely priceless!

I won't miss him at all.

Wow. We can't agree on which Hip album is the best, we can't agree that KISS is the lamest band ever, and we can't agree on teachers, but we can all agree that Brett won't be missed.

I met him once when he was still a St. Louis Blue and he was nice enough. Nowhere near the prick that Alan Bester was. That being said, he was one of the two players that I refused to take in any hockey pool ever, the other being Pavel Bure.

The funny thing is that despite all of his accomplishments, did you ever hear anyone buy a ticket to see Brett play? I mean his brand of offense - float around until the other team forgets you and then get a one-timer, wasn't exactly the most exciting thing about the sport.

His constant bitching and whining about the NHL was annoying. Call me crazy, but as a player shouldn't you be selling the game and trying to convince fans to come out rather than try to drive them away?!?

Goodbye Brett. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

The guy is a dick, no doubt, but.... he is the third all time on the goals list.
