another CD that will end up on my top ten at the end of the year..it's got the typical poppy sounds that the dandy's are so good at, but a lot of experimental tripped out songs as well...the intro is hilarious , with narration from Bill Kurtis from A&E...the thing i love about these guys, is they're so damn funny..but on the surface it really seems like they take themselves very seriously

Hmmm. A lot of the reviews I read said the album was crap, so I avoided it. I did download about three songs that were well received, and I liked two of 'em. Maybe I should give the whole thing a chance.

i don't think the reviewers "got it"...at first it may not be an easy listen...but i would give the whole thing a chance.what songs did you download? and do you like their previous stuff?

I loved Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia. Wasn't as keen on Monkey House, but "We Used to Be Friends" is one of the catchiest tracks ever.

yeah..monkey house had some cool tracks, but after Thirteen Tales, it was hard to top that...Thirteen Tales is one of my favorite albums of all time...have you seen the movie DIG!

That's a cool fuckin movie. Watched it a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

The new warhols is great too, though I don't know if it'll make my top ten for sure. It's been a great year for new tunes. I'd say Urban Bohemia is my favorite followed by the new one. Come Down and Monkey House both have some great tunes on them as well.
