I just started seriously collecting CD's in june, and I have 6 Hip CD's (Up to Here, Phantom Power, Live Between Us, Fully Completely, Day For Night, and Road Apples), but I have heard all of the other albums, it's just my funds that are keeping me from aquiring them. Anyways, I was just wondering what you though is the best song from each studio album?

A lot of these choices amount to picking the most underrated track, not necessarily the *best,* it seems to me. In any case, I go with:
-Small Town Bringdown
-New Orleans is Sinking. Hands down.
-Fiddler's Green
-Locked in the Trunk of a Car
-Scared
-Ahead by a Century
-Poets
-Music at Work
-The Dire Wolf
-Yer Everywhere
Best unreleased track: Montreal. Most devastating song never.
Unlike many bands, the Hip have a reasonably good track record when it comes to picking singles...they chose what I define as 'best song' 5 times.
