Sabres make the Eastern Conference finals this year. Write it down!

Since this is an NHL thread and since we're making predictions ... here's my opening day roster for the Toronto Maple Leafs:
Belak [boo], Berg, Steen, Sundin, Stajan, Kaberle, Tucker, Kilger, Belfour, Czerkawski, Klee [if healthy, if not take Kronwall], Ponikarovsky, McCabe, Khavanov, Perrott, Marchment, Domi, Tellqvist, Thomas [if Quinn's feeling sentimental, if not take Wellwood], Allison, Antropov, Lindros, O'Neill
That means no Carlo Colaiacovo, no Clarke Wilm, no Kronwall, and no Wellwood. I'd gladly dump Belak and Perrott in favour of any of those guys, but my money is on Quinn going with his favourites.

I'll say this first. My two favourite teams are Boston and Toronto (to quote GD, "Joe's the thing"). Naturally, a Boston-Toronto conference final, followed by a Bruins Cup victory would be the greatest event of life (mind you, odds are, it'll never happen in my lifetime)
That said, and this pains me to no end, put your money on Ottawa this year. The Heatly for Hossa trade sealed the deal.
I feel so dirty all of a sudden

Toronto will surprise everyone and be one of the best teams in the East... again. And I think some of the younger guys, Steen, Wellwood and Colaiacavo, make the team and make a large part of the difference.
Flyers are overrated, Habs don't have enough talent and the Sabres just plain SUCK!
Still, I predict another Tampa Bay-Calgary Stanley Cup final. From there, it's a coin flip.
