That wee Salmon Fest vid on thehip.com is all fine and well, especially that jam Rob, Paul and Johnny take part in within the trailer; I really hope they turn that into something. But as for their new song No Threat, I don't know about that one. Let's just say it's not one of my favourites, and I can't believe that it ousted Last American Exit (among others) on this new box set coming out.

I too dig LAE, probably more than most fans, but I try not judge new songs until I've had a chance to hear them a few times.
I'm pretty sure the final recording of No Threat will be a rockin' track. Most Hip songs havbe a life of their own and evolve significantly between the first performance and the final edit.

I've only listened to it a couple of times, but it sounds like a pretty solid tune to me. I can't hear what the hell Gord is singing anyway, so I'm gonna reserve my judgement until I hear the final studio track.
