"in a spartan antarctican walk for many days
meet with emperor penguin devotion to the egg
and their women are swimming from half an ocean away..."
Great freakin' movie.

I saw this movie a couple weeks ago and was really impressed. I found myself asking throughout the movie how the hell they got all the fantastic footage. They kept talking about how cold it was (-80 F?) Must've been hell to film it all. And such great footage too. The story practically tells itself.
Incredible animals and an incredible film.
I also found myself singing along in my head over and over "devotion to the egg, etc." Such a great song... shoulda been on the soundtrack.

BUMP.
I just saw it this evening. What an incredible bird. The lyrics, "Meet with emperor penguin, devotion to the egg, and their women are swimming from half an ocean away" make so much more sense. Gord must have done his homework prior to writing the song.
