meet with emperor penguin devotion to the egg
and their women are swimming from half an ocean away..."

Great freakin' movie.

yes it is a fantastic film! I agree it's the best thing so far this year (of course this may change as Deuce Bigalow II is about to hit theatres) Confusedcratch:

Speaking of theatres, the penguin movie is really worth seeing in a theatre, if you can, as the cinematography is incredible. Chances are there will be about 5 other people there so you'll have plenty of leg room.

I saw this movie a couple weeks ago and was really impressed. I found myself asking throughout the movie how the hell they got all the fantastic footage. They kept talking about how cold it was (-80 F?) Must've been hell to film it all. And such great footage too. The story practically tells itself.

Incredible animals and an incredible film.

I also found myself singing along in my head over and over "devotion to the egg, etc." Such a great song... shoulda been on the soundtrack.

This was talked about a while ago here and I meant to check it out.

Thanks for reviving this thought in my mind; I'll look for it this weekend.

It's ok, that link was worth going back to just for the reminder of the Goulet! skit.

BUMP.

I just saw it this evening. What an incredible bird. The lyrics, "Meet with emperor penguin, devotion to the egg, and their women are swimming from half an ocean away" make so much more sense. Gord must have done his homework prior to writing the song.
