I have a small business I run outside of my day job that involves Photo Montages in Motion with Music added into the mix. I have been searching for a name to call the company that is unique... in my brainstorming with friends we really looked closely at Lyric-Phrases & Song Titles from a few groups... and I would love one from the Hip. The shorter the better and hopefully relate to photos or videos.

Here are 2 that made it out of the dozens of choices and are in the running. Any feedback on why they ROCK or SUCK is appreciated

ORANGE CRUSH VIDEO

THEY SHOT A MOVIE ONCE
Productions

ALSO PLEASE POST ANY IDEAS from A HIP LYRIC or SONG or any other Group around the theme of video or photo... biggest challenge of course is having the domain .com be available... so creativity is key here. If I use your suggestion then you will receive a gift cert for a photo/video show from me in any area you like... as in Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday, Holiday or whatever you can think of.

Ask me for details if need be <a href="mailto:thecompletist@gmail.co">thecompletist@gmail.co</a>

Thanks,

Jeffro

The first thing that comes to mind is "Into The Mix". You already named your company and didn't even know it Smile

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.intothemix.net">http://www.intothemix.net</a> is avaliable

First name I thought of was On the Verge Productions. It has the Hip reference, and it kinda lends the idea that your company is a leader in the video production world.

Also, Somthing On works well too.

Good luck!

If you want a hip one, how about

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.flamencomix.com">http://www.flamencomix.com</a>

FLAMENCO - A Spanish gypsy song or dance.

That is good ! I like that.... Here are the LATEST from today

makeshiftvideo.com - I don't like the song alot but it fits well...

direwolfvideos.com - I could use the dire wolf as my logo

trickridervideos.com - love the song

videocompletist.com - spelling could be an issue here...

giftshopvideos.com - really like this one for some reason

useitup.com - nothing about video but a great domain to remember

bringitallback.com - bringing back the memories is what photos and videos do

what do you think.... easy to remember, cool name, has something to do with the business and is available .com

thecompletist · 07-19-2005, 01:23 PM

Ok well I could search for a company name for a year and have no business cards or website...I must take a name and RUN WITH IT!

I came up with one more name that isn't a song but fits well...

MATCHSTICK VIDEO

Match the photos up
Stick in some music
Video is the result

this one has received good feedback from many friends of mine.... and a few still like:

THEY SHOT A MOVIE ONCE
Productions

with the Hip reference ...I like it but not sure if it beats the matchstickvideo.com

any feedback is appreciated
