Robert Plant in Calgary
#1

Heard it today, Sept 20th. Might be something to check out, and looking at the setlists, seems like there's quite a bit of Zeppelin material in the sets... :thumb:

This thread just convinced me to buy tickets for the London show, I scored some sweet floor seats! I stole the password from RP's message boards. The setlists are Zep heavy, he seems to be rotating around: Thats The Way, Whole Lotta Love, When The Levee Breaks, No Quarter, Gallows Pole and Since I've Been Loving You and Black Dog. Very cool, cant wait. :thumb:

Sorry guys, I didn't realize I was a source of such mystery....the old avatar was a stock picture of Fry from Futurama and I'm not sure where it went..

As for the Plant show, it seems his band is pretty good, and adding to the energy, as opposed to being just a backing band

I'm a Leaf fan, and I love your new avatar too! I read the other day that he said he figures he's got 2-3 years left in the NHL. Yeah, sure, OK Tie. Go have another one.

Saw Plant Tuesday night in Philly - Good show. He played some Led Zeppelin, but to his own tune with the occasional Led Zep riff. Some liked it, some did not. To me it was a tease- once I heard that riff - all I wanted was Zeppelin.

The opening band was Soundtrack of our Lives - They played a great set.

All in all, it was a good show.

By the way - t-shirts were a ridiculous $45.00! Needless to say, none of us went home with one.
