You all know I work for a Six Flags Park in New York State. Well, I've been officially promoted. I'm now a Ride Trainer/Lead. Lead = Shift supervisor.

I've had this position for a week now and I love it! I'm finishing my leadership training tonight!

I am so honored and proud of myself. I never looked at myself in this
light but now I'm glad someone has taken my potential and is using it.

:lol: Actually most of the people in my zone are 20somethings and some of the others are even older than me, they are also trainers. However, I am one of the older people at the park in rides. Most of the teenagers we have work in kiddie rides which is a different zone and the teenagers we do have are pretty well behaved. We're lucky, one of the long timers who was just promoted with me said that we have the best operations team we've had in a long time. I know for a FACT there is another department with some horrific teenagers working in it. I've dealt with them on my rides and I know someone in their department!

I get a $1.65 raise on the 28th of June because I finally get my level 1 certification in water and wastewater. It is amazing what it takes to gross you out after you have worked in a sewage treatment plant.
