Can good Christians shop at IKEA?
#1

I'm just kinda wondering, because it's impossible to assemble their #@%&! furniture without repeatedly taking the Lord's name in vain.

Assembling IKEA furniture is a great relationship tester. If you and your significant other can assemble something and not hate each other at the end of it, he's/she's a keeper. If not, it's time to move on. :thumb:

This always amuses me, since I find IKEA things quite theraputic and easy to assemble...

... the ultimate proof of my weirdness, perhaps?

That's because you live in that other London, Stace, where up is down and blue is yellow.

Here in the real London, things are different.

Try assembling your kid's bunk beds in a cramped space after the unmentionable little darlings have made off with half the hardware. Oh, yeah, that's a relationship tester, all right.

Jesus was a carpenter.
Good Christians make their own furniture.

You mean, I don't live in the real London?
Dammit.

Wish I'd been told before I'd found a new house...
