Nah... Hunger Strike was a decent catchy song, nothin' tough to belt out. The album itself wasn't great though, I much rather prefer 'Ten', and Soundgarden in their own right. After 14 years I doubt this one time 'super grunge' band could release anything remotely relevant to the music that spawned two of the greatest 'grunge' bands of the '90s; grunge is dead, and has been (unfortunately) replaced by utter crap (complete crap, to go from PJ, Soundgarden and STP toppin the charts in '95, to Good Charlotte, Simple Plan and Maroon 5 in '05... Jesus, something went wrong) I just eagerly await a new one from Pearl Jam, and whats happening with Audioslave? Are they set to release a new one???

audioslave i believe comes out in may they have a toronto tour date announced already

Former Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron (who played the skins on the Temple of the Dog album) has been a member of Pearl Jam for the past few years. All they'd have to do is get Eddie and Chris to write some tunes together, and then go into a studio with the current Pearl Jam lineup, and presto! Instant Temple of the Dog!

on PJ's 03 tour cornell joined the band at afew shows and played afew songs from temple of the dog...would have killed to see that!

Saw Audioslave the first (and last) time they were in T.O. a couple years ago now. Great show, it was the 4th night in a row they had performed, Cornell's voice was a strong as ever. They even threw in a cover of rush's "Wroking Man"
All in all a great show, as you can tell from my sign in name,I am a big fan! Back when they came out I was going through a pretty crappy separation and took the song "Cochise" for my own.........lol..........lines like "drown if you want and I will see you at the bottom where you crawl on my skin and put the balme on you and you don't feel a thing" and "go on and save yourself and take it out on me" really seemed to touch base!
Anyways, can't wait for their new one, already heard the first single on the radio.
By the way, I think I have a couple of boots laying around, not of T.O. but of others if anyone was interested.
