After having thorougly enjoyed Dame's thread on embarrassing "romantic" moments, I thought it might be appropriate to begin one about the opposite. I proposed to my girlfriend this past weekend and she accepted. I think that makes for a fantastic Valentine's Day.

Congratulations on getting the all important YES....unlike that rather unfortunate soul that jumped out of a cake during halftime of an NBA basketball game last night....He proposed, and had the girl say NO, then she ran off the court crying.....Poor bastard...but he deserves it for being such a bonehead.
Note to any of you showmen out there...If you're gonna do it at half court of an NBA game, you better be sure it's a yes...else take her for a breakfast skillet at Denny's, at least you'll only have a few teenagers behind the counter laughing at you after a NO.
