Ive heard it before but it was sweet to hear on my drive home yesterday (1 1/2 hrs due to 1 cm of snow) on 97.7 Htz FM. Was wondering if there is an actual release of anykind with this version on it? It sounded crystal clear and the one i heard before sounded like a boot.
'and he, and he took my left arm, he took my fuckin left arm'...would love to hear gord pull something like that at a show!

It was released as a promo disc to radio stations and has since found it's way into Hiplore via a trillion different incarnations: burned comps, bootleg shops, radio exposure, napster and file sharing etc.
If I'm not mistaken, the "Roxy and Elsewhere" disc which contains both "Killer Whale Tank" and "Double Suicide" was recorded at various locales while the boys toured California in 1991 or '92. Rory'll know for sure.

Actually - It was not a promo disk.
It was the B-side of Long Time Running.

It was recorded May 3rd, 1991, at the Roxy in Los Angeles. Maybe someone can torrent the entire show. It's a gem.

I have a copy of it I could torrent, but I'm tied up all weekend and wouldn't be able to do it until sometime next week.
If no one has put it up by then, I'll chuck it on......
