Hey all

Went to see the Rheostatics for the first of their two night stand at the Grad Club in Kingston last night, and once again, I was blown right away. This was my third time seeing the Rheos and they somehow get better every time. With the exception of the sound problems Dave Bidini was having, this night went out with out a hitch. If you're in Kingston, you must go to tonight's show (I'm hoping to as well -- if I don't get into Metric, who I have yet to see).

Anyway, to close last night's show, Dave unplugged his acoustic and led the audience in a big sing a long which is one of the cooler moments I've been apart of at a rock show (similar to what Guster does with "Jesus on the Radio" except were allowed to sing this time). I need a copy of this song, which I believe. All I can really remember of the chorus is the line "what kind of a fool am I?" There was also something about "disco sucks" and liking 12 bar blues.

Any help people? I know it's not a lot, but someone out there just might know what I'm talking about.

this is a no brainer: catch the rheos again tonight.

Saw Metric last night in Ottawa and left half way through. I can't stand the recent new wave trend with mindless rhythms and boring, boring melodies.

For those in Ottawa, the rheos are playing at 7pm on the rideau canal on Saturday. Should be a great show.

if you like the disc, you'll no doubt like the show... there's a great energy in the room.

but for me, I just can't get into the genre....

But definately, buy more Rheos records. Which ones do you have?
