(x-mas gift) to film any Boston shows...

I'm crushed nobody captured the 2004 show at Avalon but fear not!...
Scott in Boston (i.e."Locked") with be your Hipbase correspondent/ filmographer for all future Boston Hip shows....

Make sure you practice with your camera!
If possabile, use it at a local bar to practice on a band....

I made that mistake, and pretty much learned how to use my new camera during my first recording.... hahaha
well the next night (my second recording) i made sure i fixed the problem (tripod, and an external MIC)

hoppy recording, and have fun!!!

You may not know but I've actually filmed the four shows in the past with various camaras borrowed
Somerville Mass 6/29/00 & 6/30/00 with a 6mm
Somerville Mass 7/27/02 and 7/28/02 with a borrowed digital
but the external mike and tripods certainly will make future shows
a better end product so I will take your advice to heart..

I've alos found it also helps to get a peak at the setlist so you can anticpate songs starts (i.e close-up of Johnny for opening cymbal tap on "locked, tight shot of Paul's guitar for opening riff of "Bones" etc.)..

Now bring on leg two of the tour!!!!
