Subject line says it all. Going to K town this friday to watch my girlfriend's sister play basketball, and we were going to come back to Ottawa the same night. However, if I could find a cheap place to stay, I might consider it and bum around Kingston the next day......

Any suggestions?

Where is she playing basketball? Do you want to stay close to the venue?

The HoJo downtown is probably the cheapest of the waterfront hotels - and it gets two thumbs up for the rooms with 3 double beds for the same price as a room with 1 bed!

There's plenty of cheap places further west on Highway 2. There's also a Super 8 at the top of downtown if you feel like taking your chances.

The HoJo is probably your best bet all around though, with plenty of great things to do surrounding it.

If I'm not mistaken, the game is at Queen's, so not only will I watch bball, I'll be able to soak up the Gord-ity of it all.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to see what the better half wants to do. I don't mind sleeping in a car if she wants to drive back.
