I just went on to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.ticketmaster.ca">www.ticketmaster.ca</a><!-- w --> to see if Hip tickets were still up for grabs and there was nothing available at this time, it looks like it finally sold out. Good, I hoped there would be a packed house to rock in the new year! :thumb:

I just check too, but if you random select other shows, they all show that they are unavailable at this time so they probably just shut down the servers over the holidays.

Chancellor was right then. Well this blows, I was hoping for a sell-out. Ill be surprised if it doesnt, but with only a week left I dont know. :? Maybe people got better things to do new years eve, I sure know where I want to be, I cant think of a better way to rock in the new year.

they announced this show like 2 months later than 2002, many people probably already started making plans for NYE

this show is also coming right on the heels of a cross canada arena tour... in 2002 there was at least a few months between their last canadian date and the new years show. As well, during the 2002 tour they'd been playing smaller venues....
with respect to this year i have a feeling that many people who go to hip shows already saw them recently and don't want to see them again so soon...
myself like other hipbasers have seen the boys 4 times in the last year and will keep going as long as they're touring... not everybody who goes to hip shows are as adamint as hipbasers.
