Oh god...not another one

I'm sure you may eventually get a "free" iPod, but IMO it's just not worth the time and the effort and the SPAM! Throw $2.00 worth of spare change in a jar every day and you'll probably have it much sooner without expending any of the hassle, time, energy, attention, and effort.

Let us know when you "sign up" and when you receive your iPod. If you have it in less than five months and can honestly say it took very little effort or attention, I'll humbly accept any Tool Points Beanmedic may administer and admit the error of my negative judgment.

I'll scream it from the rooftops!

Also, if you read that story i attached its clear that people are gettin these things and i believe it said within 2 months of signing up. Believe me i dont ever do this crap but after i read that story i decided to give it a shot.

There's usually a bit more to it than that, like joining several discount clubs and fulfilling each one's membership obligation and the people you get to sign up all have to join similar clubs and meet their membership obligations as well.

It's like a pseudo-legal pyramid thing. I'm sure some people eventually get the freebie (I've seen them for other electronic items like PSPs & portable media centers) but for all the attention you have to pay to the fine print of each "club" and the effort you have to put into the details it really isn't worth it. Not to me, anyway.

actually, no that is not how it works.

you bascially sign up for a service... ie: blockbuster online rentals. once you sign up and you get credit for the referall, you can cancel your trial membership. no purchases are required.

there are the occasional ones that do make you buy something, but you can always find ones that don't make you do it.
