Does anyone know these? I was listening to a show the other day and it became a topic of discussion. Sounds very different. Does anyone know what they are?

According to <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/stage/7868/lyrics/ahead.html">http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/st ... ahead.html</a><!-- m -->
First we'll climb a tree
And maybe then we'll talk
I will touch your cunt
You will touch my cock
Then we'll be married
Then we'll be man and wife
No dress rehearsal
This is our life
But that's where the hornet stung me
And I had a feverish dream
With revenge and doubt
Tonight we smoke them out
You are ahead by a century
You are ahead by a century
You are ahead by a century
You are ahead by a century
You are ahead by a century
You are ahead by a century
So disappointing you's getting me down
So disappointing you's getting me down
So disappointing you's getting me down

Search around 'n you'll find some other threads on this topic. I heard those were the original lyrics 'n not just alternate lyrics... but all this has been said before (hope that didn't come out sounding hostile).

Isn't the 'West Wind' song referred to as the Cookie Factory? I think that particular version of ABAC is always listed as Dirty ABAC... fitting enough...

i believe cookie factory is actually about a........uh.......cookie factory.
From <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/stage/7868/unreleased.html">http://www.geocities.com/sunsetstrip/st ... eased.html</a><!-- m -->
Cookie Factory: There used to be one in the west. Sometimes, there's also a bookstore in the east. Played during early 1995, and brought back occasionally since then. The guitar riff was resurrected for Sharks, and in the Coke Machine Glow book, a cookie factory was considered as a possible gift for "the woman who gives everything" in Gift Advice.
Cookie Factory, with lyrics combined from performances in Rochester on April 28, 1995 and in Buffalo on April 29, 1995
There used to be a cookie factory in the west
And so obviously we like the west wind best
There used to be a cookie factory in the west
When the west wind blew we felt like we were blessed
And, you know, the wind would almost whisper:
Eat me...
Completely...
Eat me...
There used to be a bookstore in the east, by the beach
Where the sand and surf would turn the words to bleach
There used to be a bookstore in the east, by the beach
Where the covered spines would fade and turn to bleach
Read me...
Read me...
Read me completely

I was just listening to the 1995 Rochester show today... hipfan39 (Chris) added it to the tracker yesterday. So I did hear that right then! I was wondering if I was going nuts or something... I was thinking "did he really say I will touch your c*nt, you will touch my c*ck"?? Apparently he did.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Speaking of alternate lyrics....
I used to play in a cover band called the Headlong Walkers in Edmonton back in the mid-90s. We would often play "She Didn't Know" off the Up To Here album. Every once in a while, to see if anyone was paying attention, the singer would change the chorus to "She didn't blow" and the back-up vocalist would respond hauntingly, "My barrel's still loaded".
It's the little things, no?
