Burning FLAC with WINAMP 5?
#1

Has anyone burned their FLAC files with winamp 5?

I am wondering it would still be lossless integrity?

Thanks.

I've never done this so I can't comment but if you use Flac Frontend to decode the flac to wav then use a cd burning software like Nero you can create an audio cd pretty easy and worry-free that it comes out okay.

Flac Frontend can be found at:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm">http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm</a><!-- m -->

There are some how-to pages out there too for going from wav to flac. Just Google search on Flac Frontend.

i have attempted to burn from FLAC to CD from winamp 5, and searched for the temp files, winamp 5 converts it to WAV but at what quality it is unknown, i will just use FLAC and convert to WAV @ Level 8

do not use winamp or windows media player to burn anything. you can get lots of good free programs that will burn cd's.
