In the article...
The writer wrote "Downey makes up the songlist a couple of hours before the show, sliding in a few surprises — for fans and the band".
and then Baker is quoted with "“The other night he threw Twist My Arm (from Road Apples) in the set. We’ve played that song twice in the last five years. But it’s fun. It keeps everyone on their toes.” Robby doesn't say Downey anywhere in there.
Here's my question....did Robby mean Gord S when he said "the other night he threw Twist My Arm in the set..." and the writer assumed it was G.D he was talking about?
I was under the impression that G.S still does the setlist for their shows...
Joe.

Baker might have referred to "Gord" and the writer made an assumption.
Fire the copyeditor, though: "Downie" in one paragraph, and "Downey" in another.

Gord S does the sets, and I'm guessing the writer got the Gords mixed up. But more importantly, Baker needs to lay off the hashish if he thinks a) that Twist has been played just twice in the last 5 years, and b) that the band truly does a stellar job of mixing up the sets.
