Wally Buono is an idiot

What an asswipe. Picking that midget Dickenson over Printers and punting with under two minutes left on third down. Loser.

Buono must be the Grady Little of 2004. Little wasn't given the chance to return to his job for another season, so let's hope Buono is marched down that same path.

Buono will be back, he brought that team to the Grey Cup in his first year, but there were some god awful plays, I mean the short kicks on the kickoffs killed them. Dickenson with two time count violations on the would be attempted 2 point convert, O'Mahoney kicking like he did when he was here in Calgary. Anyone else see that female Mountie get swallowed up by the pack of Argos when they dished out the Grey Cup ? That made me laugh pretty hard. Big Grin

Not to proclaim myself the Football Nostradamus (spelling?) but when I found out he was starting Dickenson i said that Toronto would win, Buono had pissed off the football Gods. You don't mess with success, and you sure as hell don't bench the most valuable player in the league.

No, conventional wisdom says you don't bench the CFL MVP but Wally is on some kind of power trip and thinks he'd god or something. He was saying that Printers was a little banged up, which factored into the decision. HAHA. It's the Grey Cup!! Printers would play through the little bit of pain he might have been in with his shoulder and all. Anyway, a banged up 69 year old named Damon Allen was good enough to get the job done. I'd like to think a 23 year old Printers would have been close to peak and would have done a little more than Mr. i'll score on the first drive and then disappear for three quarters Dickenson.

It was a dumb move on his part. But if you look at the last game, dickenson came in and made some key throws for them to tie it up. If they won, the coach would have looked like a genius.

I said the same thing myself, it was bad mojo. Im not saying they would of won, but if it was me, printers would of started.

Imagine a world before the "beginning was the word.”

All I can say is "Thank you Wally!" I happen to think Toronto would have won with Printers in... the Argos handled him pretty well in the regular season... but benching the MVP of the entire leagues is just ridiculous... it's like Peyton Manning being benched in the Super Bowl (if his defense would ever let him make it that far! ).

Dickenson played OK, but Toronto played better, end of story.

AAAAAARRRRRRRRGOOOOOOOOOOOSS!! :jump
